Job Purpose:
Provide essential support to finance department by handling various administrative and accounting tasks. This role involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, assisting with financial analysis.
Main Outcome / Key Results:
- Efficient and organised maintenance of finance and accounting records
- Accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and data
- Provision of administrative support to the finance team
Process/Technical Function and Responsibility:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Process invoices, accounts payable reconciliation, payments, and other financial transactions and ensure all are properly documented
- Support month end and year end financial closing process
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients and internal staff
- Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial information
- Receives daily collection and ensure the safekeeping
- Ensures timely deposit/bank in of cash/cheques
- Monitors and follows up on all receivables
- Support audits and implement audit recommendations
- Any other tasks deemed appropriate by Line Manager/Management
Education/Experience:
- Advanced Diploma or High National Diploma in Finance and Accounting with minimum 1 year experience or related field.
- Basic or Foundation Certificate in Accounting & Finance is preferred
